Aaron Joseph Rudroff, age 54, of Windsor Locks, Connecticut, was born October 4, 1970, in Jefferson City, Missouri, a son of William Joseph and Marilyn Sue Rudroff. Aaron passed from this life on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. Aaron lived a life defined by service, integrity, and deep intellect.
He proudly served over 20 years in the United States Army, retiring with the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7). Throughout his military career, Aaron was recognized for his exceptional dedication and leadership, earning the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the National Defense Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.
Aaron held both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Political Science and remained committed to lifelong learning. At the time of his passing, he was enrolled in a paralegal program, preparing for a new chapter of service in the legal field.
Those left to mourn the passing of Aaron include his children, Colin Joseph Rudroff and Theresa Ellery Rudroff, both of Windsor Locks, Connecticut; his father, William "Bill" Joseph Rudroff (Sue), of Fayette, Mo; his sister, Rebekah Hammett (Nick), of Ashland, Mo and children Lauren and Cole; Aunt, Maydeen Rudroff, of Jefferson City, Mo; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who held him dearly.
Aaron was preceded in death by his mother Marilyn Sue Rudroff, his paternal grandparents, Mae and Joseph Rudroff, and his maternal grandparents, Don and Eileen Snellen.
True to his lifelong commitment to helping others, Aaron was an organ donor, providing his final gift, offering hope and healing to those in need.
A graveside service with full Military Honors will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 11 a.m.in the Vienna Public Cemetery, Vienna, MO, under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home.
