Alberta Louise "Betty" Siebert, of Rolla, formerly, of Vienna, was born on September 22, 1939, a daughter of Monroe and Reba Marie Reeves, and departed this life at 6:30 a.m., on Friday morning, October 9, 2015, at her residence in Rolla. She had attained the age of 76 years and 18 days.
Betty was preceded in death by one son, George William Siebert, Jr.; her parents; three brothers, Cletus Reeves, Eldon Reeves, and Johnny Reeves; and two sisters, Maxine Ryerson and Jackie Giddens.
Betty had various careers throughout her life from factory work to starting her own small businesses. She was also a devoted homemaker, wife and Mother who gave her all to loving her family and friends. She was the strength, the glue, the backbone, the guidance and adored Matriarch of her family. Many beyond her own children called her Mom as she loved unconditionally. Betty enjoyed shopping, picking wild flowers, dancing, writing poetry, sketching, spending time with family and hunting for thrifty treasures. She was a vibrant and creative soul that shared her gifts with the world any chance she got.
Those left to mourn the passing of Betty include: Her long time companion Tom Antoniou, two sons, Steven Vincent Siebert and his significant other Susie Weider, Vienna; and Mark Shane Siebert and fiancé, Shanda Welschmeyer, Jefferson City; one daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Corby Helton, St. Louis; the father of her children, George Siebert, Sr., two sisters, Norma Jean Helton, Dixon; and Patricia Ann Blankenship, Hermann; 15 grandchildren: Leah, Brooks, Chasity, Jackie, Shana, Gus, Johnny, Jesse, Kolten, Ciara, Mason, Alia, Summer, Trevor, and Zachery, 9 great grandchildren; Noelle, Mackenzie, Rylie, Tucker, Parker, Payton, Devin, Raeley, and Pashion, and countless family and friends.
Funeral services were conducted for Betty at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday morning, October 13, 2015, in the Vienna Christian Life Assembly, with Pastor Clifford Wagner officiating.
Interment was in the Vienna Public Cemetery, Vienna, under the direction of the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes. Pallbearers for Betty were Steven Siebert, Mark Siebert, Gustus Siebert, Johnny Siebert, Jesse Siebert, Kolten Siebert, Mason Siebert, Corby Helton, Matthew Bischoff, Mike Adams, David Decker, and Joe Backues.
Memorial contributions for a beautiful headstone for Betty are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the Vienna office of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.
