Alisha Joy Boyster, of Vienna, was born on December 5, 1962, at St. Louis, a daughter of Ross and Darlene Joy (Armer) Halbrook, and departed this life at 8:45 p.m., on Sunday, November 15, 2020, in Maries Manor, Vienna. She had attained the age of 57 years, 11 months, and 10 days.
Alisha was united in marriage on May 15, 1993, at Vienna, to Robert Lynn Boyster, who was born on May 27, 1962, at Festus, Missouri, and preceded his wife in death on July 14, 2015.
She had been a member of the Freedom Road Riders and really got a thrill out of riding her motorcycle, but the most joy in her life came from loving on her grandchildren. During her working life, Alisha had been employed at the Quaker Window Products Company in Freeburg for several years and in numerous fast food restaurants as well as being a devoted housewife and homemaker to her family.
Those left to mourn the passing of Alisha include: Two sons, Tommy Thompson and wife, Angie, of Jefferson City, and Dustin Boyster and Natasha Prenger, of Vienna; three grandchildren, PFC Dalton Thompson, state of Missouri, Kaleb Thompson, and Brennen Prenger, both of Jefferson City; sisters-in-law, Sheri Godat and husband, Jim, of Vienna, and Gaile Hayes and husband, Jeff, of Richwoods, MO; brother-in-law, Kelly Boyster and wife, Myra, of Cadet, MO; three sisters, Charlotte Pagano and husband, Robert, of Ladue, and Sheila Rowe-Schell and Lillie Glenn, both of Vienna; two maternal aunts, Janet Johannsen of Maryland Heights, and Phyllis Bax of Jefferson City; nephews, nieces, with greats as well; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Rob, she was preceded in death by her father, Ross Halbrook; her mother, Darlene Butler, on July 31, 2020; and maternal grandparents, William Lester Armer (on December 2, 1995) and Lillie Lee (Kellison) Armer (on April 9, 1978); and maternal aunts and uncles, Jean Salsman, Bill Armer, Joe Armer, Larry Armer, and Mary Charlene Armer.
Graveside services and interment for Mrs. Alisha Joy Boyster will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, November 20, 2020, in the James Community Cemetery, Maries County Road 325, Vienna, Missouri 65582, with the Rev. Chris Slocum, Pastor of First Baptist Church, Vienna, officiating. Honorary pallbearers for Mrs. Boyster will be her grandsons, PFC Dalton Thompson, Kaleb Thompson, and Brennen Prenger.
Arrangements are by the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna with memorial contributions and correspondence to the family in memory of Mrs. Alisha Joy Boyster in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, Missouri 65582.
