Obituary

Andrew Richard Green, of Perry, Missouri, was born August 28, 1937, at Union, New Jersey, a son of Thomas Noble and Adelaide (Bifus) Green, and departed this life at 7:35 p.m., Wednesday evening, December 10, 2014, in the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics, Columbia. He had attained the age of 77 years, 3 months, and 12 days.

Mr. Green was united in marriage on February 23, 1957, at Waynesville, to Bonnie Mae Moon, and to this union, four children were born. He was preceded in death by one son, David Joseph Green on December 18, 1977; one daughter, Peggy Sue Moses on December 20, 1988; one granddaughter, Deann Moses on July 23, 1985; his parents; and one brother, Donald Green in 1975.

During his working life, he was employed as an assembly line worker for the Chrysler Corporation, Fenton, for twenty-eight years retiring in 1991.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Green include: His wife, Bonnie Green, of the home in Perry; two sons and daughters-in-law, Andrew, Jr. and Marilyn Green, Festus, and Ron and Mary Green, St. Charles; one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas J. and Jackie Green, St. Louis; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted for Mr. Green at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 15, 2014, in the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes, with the Rev. Michael Hurtgen, First Baptist Church, Vienna, officiating.

Interment was in the Rader Cemetery near Vienna under the direction of the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes. Active pallbearers for Mr. Green were Aaron Black, Alex Green, Joe Green, Nick Green, Danny Baron, and David Banks. Honorary pallbearers were Mike Juergens, Casey Smith, Thomas Green, and Tim Moon.
