Barbara Jill Allen, of St. Charles, was born on April 13, 1959, at St. Louis, a daughter of James Reynolds "Jim" and Joyce LaRose (Duncan) Allen, and departed this life on Sunday evening, December 20, 2015, in St. Joseph Health Center, St. Charles. Barbara had attained the age of 56 years, 9 months, and 7 days.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim, on March 19, 2008.

Barbara was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, St. Charles, and enjoyed Barbie dolls and had collected thousands of them.

Those left to mourn the passing of Barbara include: Her mother, Joyce Allen, St. Charles; one brother and sister-in-law, Bradley James and Susan (Barrett) Allen, Mahomet, Illinois; two nieces, Jennifer and Mindy; two great-nieces, Lily and Ruth; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted for Barbara at 11:00 a.m., on Monday morning, December 28, 2015, in the Vienna United Methodist Church, with Rev. Karen Alden, Woodlandville (Rocheport), Rocheport officiating.

Interment was in the Vienna Cemetery under the direction of the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes. Pallbearers for Barbara were Brad Allen, Kevin Allen, Don Allen, John Allen, Brett Ready and Tammy Kleffner.
