Barbara Jean "Winky" Brewer, of Vienna, was born on November 2, 1949, at Murray, Kentucky, the daughter of Willard Eck "Decky" and Byrnece Sjostadt (Lake) Finn, and departed this life on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at the family residence after suffering an apparent heart attack.  She had attained the age of 69 years, 5 months, and 16 days.

Mrs. Brewer was united in marriage on December 30, 1979, at Vienna, to Robert Dale Brewer, and to this union, twin sons were born.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, on November 26, 1998; her father, Decky, on March 3, 2007; and an infant brother, Bernard Coleman Finn, on January 25, 1954.

Mrs. Brewer was a certified public accountant during her working life as well as being a devoted housewife, homemaker, and mother.  She was especially fond of her horses and enjoyed caring for them.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Brewer include:  Her twin sons, John Coleman Brewer and wife, Megan, of Eugene, Oregon, and Paul Edward Brewer and wife, Lisa, of Scarsdale, New York; her three grandchildren, Beckam, Boston, and Jordyn; her mother, Byrnece "Muz" Finn, of Vienna; her brother, Gary Finn and wife, Deborah, of Osage Beach; her niece and nephew, Carrie Elizabeth Finn and friend, Steve, of Moab, Utah, and Reid Allen Finn and wife, Tara, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; her great-niece and nephews, Maeve, Calvin, and Silas; and other relatives and friends.

There will be a gathering of Winky's family and close friends at the family residence in Vienna on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, to remember and celebrate her life.  Fond and precious memories will always be remembered in the hearts of her beloved family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Final disposition for Mrs. Brewer will be near her husband, Robert, in the state of Arizona.
