Barbara Lee Carnes, age 45, of Springfield, was born February 18, 1978, in Denton, Texas, a daughter of Charlie Darrell and Jannie (Crocker) Carroll Sr., and passed from this life on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield.

During her working life she was self-employed running a cleaning business for the last three years. Barbara was a devoted homemaker and mother. She will always be remembered for being there for her children and family.

Those left to cherish the memory of Barbara include: her children, Braden Carnes and wife, Tasha, Skylee Carnes, Landon Carnes, all of Vienna, Kinley Hamilton, Paisley Hamilton, Bentley Hamilton, Riley Hamilton, all of Springfield; her father, Darrell Carrol, of Decator, Arkansas; one grandchild, Jannie Carnes, of Vienna, and one on the way; two brothers, William Crocker, Rogers, Arkansas, and Charlie Carroll Jr., of Decator, Arkansas; one nephew, Liam Crocker; one niece, Ann Crocker; and many other beloved family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jannie Carroll in 2017.

Barbara's family and friends will have a celebration of life to be announced later by Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.
