Barbara Sue Honse, age 76, of Vienna, was born January 30, 1945, in Maries County, a daughter of Harrison Cleveland and Mildred Gertrude (Armer) Breeding, and passed from this life Friday, September 10, 2021, in StoneBridge Villa Marie, Jefferson City.

Mrs. Honse was united in marriage June 11, 1966, in First Baptist Church, Vienna, to Allen Lloyd Honse.

She had accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior early in life and followed her Blessed Redeemer in baptism. Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church, Vienna, and had attended Little Flock Baptist Church, near Vienna, as well. During her working life, she was employed at Quaker Window Products Company, Freeburg, for many years and worked in childcare and home health care positions until her full retirement. Barbara was a person who liked fishing, cooking, gardening, sewing, and being with family.

Those left to celebrate the life of Mrs. Honse include: Her husband of 55 years, Allen, of the home near Vienna; her children, Mark (Kelly) Honse, Scott (Dawn) Breeding, and Tina (Scott) Dake, all of Vienna; her grandchildren, Madyson Honse, Ethan Honse, Aidyn Honse, Paige Breeding, and Dalton Breeding; her siblings, Ronnie Breeding, Donald "Doc" (Wanda) Breeding, Sharon Hertzing, and Donna Jones, all of Vienna; nephews; nieces; other relatives, and many friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Harrison; her mother, Mildred; one brother-in-law, Leroy Hertzing; one half-brother, Bobbie Gene Breeding; and one half-sister and brother-in-law, Louise (Romie) Butler.

Visitation for Mrs. Barbara Honse will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021, in First Baptist Church, 1004 US Highway 63 South, Vienna, MO 65582 with her funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. in the church with Rev. Chuck Davis, pastor of Little Flock Baptist Church, officiating under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.

Interment will be in the Vienna Public Cemetery, Highway 42 West, Vienna, MO 65582. Pallbearers for Mrs. Honse will be Ethan Honse, Kody Hertzing, Jason Roberson, Joe Breeding, Eddie Honse, and Justin Roberson, and her honorary pallbearers will be Madyson Honse, Aidyn Honse, Paige Breeding, Dalton Breeding, Paul Honse, Rebecca Hertzing, and Samantha Hertzing.

Immediately following the cemetery interment ceremony, the Honse family extends an invitation to all in attendance to share a meal with them in the Baptist Hall located on the lower level of First Baptist Church, 1004 US Highway 63 South, Vienna, MO 65582.
