Obituary

Bernice Helene Warren, of Dixon, was born on May 29, 1920, in Richland Center, Wisconsin, a daughter of Arthur John and Alma (Natwick) Diettman, and departed this life at 10:58 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 2014, in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla. Mrs. Warren had attained the age of 93 years, 11 months, and 20 days.

Mrs. Warren was united in marriage on June 18, 1937, at Viola, Wisconsin, to Frank Henry Warren, and to this union, three children were born. After fifty-six years of marriage she was preceded in death by her husband on November 19, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her father in December of 1931; her mother in April of 1958; two brothers, Arthur and Charles; three sisters, Ruth, Lorraine, and Gretchen; two children, Frank Dennis Warren and
Enid Ardine Warren; and two grandchildren, Frank Lester Warren and Dawn Marie Woods.

Mrs. Warren accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and followed him in baptism early in life. At the time of her passing she was a member of the Freedom Church, Dixon. She loved traveling, cooking for her family, and was a devoted housewife and homemaker, always diligent in providing for the needs of her family.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Warren include: one daughter, Patricia B. Morris and husband, Major, Dixon; one sister, Ardine Skrede, Wausau, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Angela Bull and husband, Paul; Victoria Slawson and husband, Ron; Les Paul Warren; Michael Warren; two great-grandchildren Jordan Woods and Lindsey Warren; one great-great-grandchild; and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Warren lived her life for the Lord and brought contentment and joy to others. Fond and precious memories will always live in the hearts of her dear family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Private interment will be in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery, Merrill, Wisconsin, at a later date.
