Beverly Louise "Bev" Honse, of Rolla, formerly of Vienna, was born on March 19, 1964, at Jefferson City, the daughter of Harold Warren and Katherine Alene (Hollis) Patterson, and departed this life at 4:42 a.m., on Sunday, June 7, 2020, in Phelps Health, Rolla, of an apparent heart attack. She had attained the age of 56 years, 2 months, and 18 days.

She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized by Bro. Wilbur Woodruff in the Maries River near the Lambeth Assembly of God Church in 1970. Bev was a 1982 graduate of the Maries R-1 High School, Vienna, and was united in marriage on July 14, 1984, at Dixon, to Paul Eugene Honse. To this union, one son, Cody, was born. Beverly had been employed by the Missouri Department of Revenue, Jefferson City, as a Tax Audit Analyst, for thirty years where she worked alongside numerous coworkers who enjoyed her easy laugh and wit, prior to her retirement on October 2, 2014.

Prior to, but somehow even more so after her retirement, Bev spent as much time as possible with her family and close friends, cooking, sewing, volunteering, joking around with her nephews and nieces, supporting her family with various projects, laughing loudly at a good joke (or not so good, where her brothers are concerned), and animatedly telling amusing stories.

Those left to mourn the passing of Bev include: her son, Cody Honse and wife, Sarah, St. James; her parents, Harold and Katherine Patterson, Vienna; two brothers, Lindell Patterson, Vienna, and Kevin Patterson, Ankeny, Iowa; nephews and nieces, Justin Noblett, Jessica Woody, Ben Woody, Kathrine Loftin, Ben Loftin, William Patterson, Josh Patterson, and Cailey Patterson; the father of her son, Paul Honse, Vienna; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Lisa Dianne (Sammons) Patterson, on June 6, 2012; paternal grandparents, John Patterson on December 12, 1996, and Leona (Tucker) Patterson on April 19, 2001; maternal grandparents, Everett Hollis on November 29, 2011, and Inez (Blankenship) Hollis on June 25, 2011.

Visitation for Bev will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, and from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020, with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m., all in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, Missouri 65582, with the Rev. Duncan Skiles, Pastor of the Mason Ridge Community Church, Meta, officiating.

Interment will be in the Vienna Public Cemetery under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna. Pallbearers for Bev will be Cody Honse, William Patterson, Josh Patterson, Keith Thompson, Tanner Wansing, and Ben Woody, with Sarah Honse, Justin Noblett, Jessica Woody, Kathrine Loftin, Cailey Patterson, and Sarah Honse serving as honorary pallbearers.
