Beverly Rae Jurgensmeyer, of Vichy, was born on May 30, 1934, at Walthill, Nebraska, a daughter of Ward Robert and Dorothy Evelyn (Berg) Lane, and departed this life at 7:15 a.m., on Monday morning, October 15, 2018, at her residence. She had attained the age of 84 years, 4 months and 16 days.

Mrs. Jurgensmeyer was united in marriage on December 21, 1952, at Vichy, to Charles Virgil Jurgensmeyer, and to this union, five children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, on January 7, 2015; one daughter, Janet Mae Jurgensmeyer, on December 23, 2011; her parents, Ward and Dorothy Lane; and one brother, Randy Lane.

In 1950, at the age of 16, Mrs. Jurgensmeyer had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Personal Savior and had followed her Lord in baptism while still living in her hometown of Walthill, Nebraska.  During her working life, she had been employed as a Nurse at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla, for twenty years, retiring in 2004.  Beverly had been a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker for her family during her life as well.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Jurgensmeyer include:  Her children, Chuck Jurgensmeyer (friend, Pat), Leasburg; Jackie Keeney, Rolla; Judy Carte (Rick), Osage Beach; and John Jurgensmeyer (Renee), Wardsville; nine grandchildren, Michael Jurgensmeyer, Angie Durbin, Grant West (Alexis), Melissa Parks, Clay Keeney (Tiffany), Kathleen Halley, Bryant Jurgensmeyer, Grant Jurgensmeyer, and Adam Jurgensmeyer; nine great-grandchildren, Spencer, Hailey, Taylor, Dusty, Brooklyn, Autumn, Caitlyn, Oliver, and Emma; her brothers, Ronnie Lane and Robert Lane (Pat), all of Dakota City, Nebraska; her sisters, Carolyn Amundson, Omaha, Nebraska; Linda Franz (Marty), Zumbro Falls, Minnesota, Lois Michaelson (Dave), Lake City, Minnesota, and Kathy Mae Lane (friend, Tim), Zumbro Falls, Minnesota; nephews; nieces; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Beverly Rae Jurgensmeyer will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, Missouri 65582, with her funeral service following at 12 noon in the Chapel with Pastor Clifford Wagner, Jr. officiating.

Interment will be next to her husband and daughter in the Hodge Cemetery, near Vichy, under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna. Pallbearers for Mrs. Jurgensmeyer will be Bryant Jurgensmeyer, Grant Jurgensmeyer, Adam Jurgensmeyer, Michael Jurgensmeyer, Spencer Jurgensmeyer, Grant West, Clay Keeney, and Dusty Durbin.
