Bonnie Maxine Wiles, age 88, of Dixon, was born March 1, 1934, at Vienna, a daughter of Evertt Dewey and Ida Myrtle (Dambach) Albertson, and passed from this life Thursday, November 10, 2022, in Phelps Health, Rolla.
She was united in marriage April 2, 1950, at Brinktown, to Ralph George Wiles, and to this union, seven children were born.
Bonnie accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized early in life. At the time of her passing, she was a member of the Victory Hill Baptist Church, near Dixon. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, and cooking.
During her working life, Bonnie was employed as a sewing machine operator at LB Manufacturing, Iberia, a cook and custodian at Maries R-1 School, Vienna, and as a cook at Maries Manor, Vienna.
Those left to celebrate the life of Bonnie include: Her husband, Ralph Wiles, of the home in rural Dixon; six sons, Larry Wiles and wife, Beverly, of Dixon, Ronnie Wiles and wife, Debbie, of Iberia, Mike Wiles and friend, Joy James, of Eugene, Randy Wiles and wife, Alice, of Dixon, Darryl Wiles and wife, Kelly, of Dixon, and Jamie Wiles and wife, Becky, of Freeburg; a grandson as a son, Donovan Wiles, of the home in rural Dixon; one sister, Betty Webb, of Eldon; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren and two more on the way; five great-great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces, with great and great-greats as well; many other relatives; and a host of friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Carol Carter, on June 27, 2009; two grandsons, Douglas Jason Dake on May 24, 2006, and Martin Wayne Wiles on October 26, 2014; her father, Everett, on November 25, 1971; her mother, Ida, on January 2, 1989; four sisters and two brothers, Rosetta Richards, Florence Prusick, Elise Frank, Lillian Dickneite, Lawrence Albertson, on March 29, 1952, and Bobby Albertson, in June of 1940 at the age of 8 years.
Visitation for Mrs. Bonnie Wiles will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2022, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 S. Main Street, Vienna, Missouri 65582, and from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 14, 2022, in the Victory Hill Baptist Church, 40658 Hwy DD, Dixon, MO 65459, with her funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. in the church with Rev. Dennis Nichols officiating under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.
Interment for Mrs. Wiles will be in the Lambeth Cemetery, near Vienna. Pallbearers for Mrs. Bonnie Wiles will be Curtis Wiles, Aaron Wiles, Donovan Wiles, Jimmy Wiles, Boone Wiles, and Blake Wiles. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brandon Wiles, Jon Wiles, Zeb Wiles, Jason Lawson, Chris Cicero, Jason Dake, and Martin Wiles.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Bonnie Wiles are suggested by her family to Lambeth Cemetery perpetual care fund with envelopes available at the funeral home the day of her visitation, or at Victory Hill Baptist Church the day of her service or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, Missouri 65582.
