Brenda Elaine Griffin, of Crocker, formerly of Dixon, was born on May 26, 1960, at Waynesville, the daughter of Harold Keith and Margaret Louise (Riley) Garrett, and departed this life unexpectedly at 3:14 a.m., on Friday, October 18, 2019, at the family residence in Crocker.  She had attained the age of 59 years, 4 months, and 23 days.

Brenda was united in marriage on May 11, 2010, at Waynesville, to Ronald Junior Griffin, who was born in the DeWitt Clinic on November 24, 1952, at Waynesville.

She was a high school graduate and was a good hearted person and was truly steadfast in her responsibility for the care of her grandchildren, who will miss her greatly.  She had various interests, enjoyed certain activities, but most of all, she was a devoted wife and grandmother.

Those left to mourn the passing of Brenda include:  Her husband, Ronald Griffin, of the home in Crocker; one daughter, Heather Pendergrass, of Clarksville, Tennessee; one son, Ronald Junior Griffin II, and wife, Stacey, of Layton, Utah; six grandchildren Riley Joseph Newkirk, Lilyanna Griffin, Adrianna Griffin, Phoenyx Rayne Griffin, Jordan Pendergrass, and Jonathan Pendergrass; one great-grandson, Alyis Pendergrass; her mother, Margaret Garrett, of Dixon; four brothers, Brian Garrett and wife, Lianna, of the state of Texas, Dennis Garrett and David Garrett, both of Dixon, and Mike Garrett and wife, Angela, of Hazelgreen; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Hollis Delaney Therkelsen, who was born on June 19, 1984, at Rolla, and died on October 18, 2018, the same date as her mother a year ago; infant twin grandsons, Jacob Griffin and Jeremiah Griffin; her father, Keith, who was born on February 11, 1935, at Success, and died on July 19, 2009; her paternal Garrett grandparents; and her maternal Riley grandparents.

A memorial gathering and life celebration for Brenda Garrett Griffin will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 26, 2019, in the Dixon Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 105 East Third Street, Dixon, Missouri  65459.

A family farewell and disposition in the Seaton Cemetery, near Dixon, will be private, with Brenda's grandchildren serving as her honorary pallbearers.
