Carl August Neubert, Sr., 81, of Vienna, was born January 6, 1940, at Woodbury, New Jersey, a son of Henry Alfred and Marie Selma (Stecher) Neubert, and  returned to his heavenly home on August 2, 2021 after a valiant battle with a long illness. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.

Carl was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his true love on August 27, 1960 in Elkton,  Maryland. From the beginning of their romance until his last day of his journey, Carl and Barbara were inseparable. Their example of devotion will be remembered by all that knew them.

Carl will always be remembered by his family as a man of strong moral character with a genuine love for people and livestock. He was a noble and kind man with a big heart, and will be dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate that he is at peace with his creator.

Those left to celebrate the life of Carl include: His wife, Barbara, Vienna; children, Carl August Neubert, Jr. (Connie), Dixon; Kenneth Edward Neubert (Peggy), Vienna; Deborah Jean Kern, Loveland, Ohio; Faith Marie Reese (Jeremy) Ozark; brother, Harold Neubert (Fern), Orem, Utah; twelve grandchildren who new him as Poppop, Stephen, Rachel, Daniel, Marie, Caroline, Nicole, Jeremy, Kaitlyn, Mechelle, Staci, Gavin, and Allison; seven great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Those preceding him in death include: his father, Henry; his mother, Marie; two brothers, Henry Alfred "Hank" Neubert in 2015, and Warren Edward Neubert, in 1990; and one sister, Helen Florence Hay in 2020.

Visitation for Mr. Neubert will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 21, 2021, in the Vienna United Methodist Church, 1102 Highway 63 North, Vienna, Missouri 65582, with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev, Larry Sorrells officiating.  All arrangements are under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna, MO.
