Carlos Eugene King, of Vienna, formerly of Dixon, was born August 23, 1965, and departed this life at 7:08 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2020, in Maries Manor Care Center, Vienna. He had attained the age of 54 years, 7 months, and 10 days.

Growing up in Dixon, Carlos attended the Dixon United Methodist Church where he was confirmed, baptized, and a member at the time of his death. He had been a student of the Dixon Elementary and Middle Schools and was a 1983 graduate of the Dixon R-1 High School. Carlos always enjoyed sports and was active in athletics while in high school.

During his working life, he had been employed as a meat cutter for several area food stores and later was employed as a lineman for the Gascosage Electric Cooperative, Dixon.

Carlos is survived by his children, Kyle King (Andrea), Camby, Indiana, and Briana King and Andriana King, both of Dixon; three brothers, Mike King (Debbie), Dixon, and Mark King (Heather), and Jason King (Christina), both of Owensville; two sisters, Jeannie King, Owensville, and Misty Bull (Bobby Gaskin), Vienna; nephews; nieces; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy "Bitty" (Jones) King; one sister, Joyce Patrick; and one brother, Tommy King.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of life service for Carlos is being planned and will be announced by Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Dixon when restrictions for gatherings have been lifted.
