Catherine Louise "Cathy" Copeland, of Vienna, was born on May 28, 1957, near Brinktown, in Maries County, a daughter of Thomas Stanley and Lena Goldie (Wolf) Copeland, and departed this life at 11:43 a.m., on Tuesday morning, April 25, 2017, in the Maries Manor Health Care Center, Vienna. Cathy had attained the age of 59 years, 10 months, and 27 days.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church and had been employed at the Rolla Sheltered Workshop and McDonalds in Rolla. Cathy especially enjoyed watching Lucille Ball shows such as "I Love Lucy" and listening to Elvis Presley music.

Those left to mourn the passing of Cathy include: Her mother, Lena Copeland Elfline of Dixon; her siblings, Carl Copeland, Ronnie Copeland, and Virginia Copeland all of Dixon, and Patti Phelps and husband, Shawn, of Rolla; two uncles, Bill Wolf of Petersburg, Illinois, and Jesse Sudheimer of Dixon; two aunts, Virginia (Copeland) Watson of Kansas City, Missouri, and Wanda (Wolf) Lane of Rolla; nephews; nieces; cousins; and other relatives and friends.

Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Stanley, on September 18, 1974; paternal grandparents, Adam E. and Mary Catherine "Kate" (Waters) Copeland; maternal grandfather, Walter Wolf; maternal grandmother, Irene Wolf Sudheimer; uncles, Henry Wolf, Nathan Wolf, and Joe Wolf; and aunt, Ellen O'Neil.
