Obituary

Corale Norlette Davis, of Cabool, formerly of Dixon, was born on December 21, 1962, on the island of Bermuda, a daughter of Philip and Madeline (Moore) Simons, and departed this life at 1:34 a.m., on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at her residence in Cabool. She had been in failing health for two years, and only recently, had been diagnosed with cancer. Corale had attained the age of 57 years, 8 months, and 8 days.

She had accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and had followed her Lord in baptism early in life,

and at the time of her passing, Corale was a member of the First Day Freewill Baptist Church in Cabool. She was also a member of the YMCA and had participated in the Step-Up Walking Across American Program as well.

Corale had been educated to be a Certified Med Tech and Nursing Assistant, and during her working life, had been employed by the Miller County Nursing Home and by Crown Nursing of Missouri until her retirement in 2014 due to a disability.

Those left to mourn the passing of Corale include: Her children, Val Davis II, Philip Davis (Ramona), and Madeline Stover (Darren), all of Mountain Grove, and Miranda Smith (Clarence) of Cabool; the father of her children, Val Davis, of Salem; grandchildren, River, Infinity (Jason Bolen), Brandon, William, Destiny, Amos, Jacob, Heaven, Naomi, Frank, Stacie, Katie, Nevaeh, and Taylor; her sisters, Brenda Newcomb (Tim) of Clarksburg, Phyllis Barnhart (Norval) of Dixon, and Clarissa Martin (Ryan) of Macks Creek; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Stacie Davis; one grandson, Malachi Bean; her father, Philip; and her mother, Madeline.
