Obituary

Curt Bradley Malone, of Dixon, was born on December 28, 1966, at Waynesville, MO, a son of James Bradley and Ruth Ann (Bassett) Malone, and departed this life on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, in St. Louis. Curt had attained the age of 49 years, 4 months, and 27 days.


He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mike and Irene Malone; and maternal grandparents, Arthur and Agnes Bassett.


Curt had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Personal Savior at the age of 7 years and had followed his Lord in baptism at the First Baptist Church, Dixon. Through the years, he had attended several churches and always found a church near where he was living. He enjoyed hunting arrowheads, hunting, fishing, trapping, reading, and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. In early years, he had been a Corrections Officer, and was a member of the (E Squad) for the Missouri Department of Corrections, Jefferson City, and was later employed in industrial and commercial construction projects and at the time of his death, he was employed by Just Pools, in Arnold, Missouri.

Those left to mourn the passing of Curt include: One son, Caleb Malone, St. Louis and his mother, Cary; one daughter, Lily Malone, Dixon and her mother, Jessica; his parents, James "Jim" and Ruth Ann Malone, Dixon; two brothers, Kevin Malone and fiancée, Melissa Shelden, and Dacoda Shelden of Duke; his nephews Justin Malone and wife, Sierra and Tanner Malone and wife, Leah; and Kyle Malone and wife, Candace, of Springfield; his nieces Sydney and Sailor Malone; great nieces and nephew, Bayleigh, Avery, and Grayson; and many other relatives and friends
