Obituary

David Lynn Noble, of Vienna, was born August 24, 1946, at Troy, Ohio, a son of Cirius and Emma Rae (Smith) Noble, and departed this life at 12:15 p.m., on Saturday, October 25, 2014, in the Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City. David had been in failing health since July of 2011 and had attained the age of 68 years, 2 months, and 1 day.

He was united in marriage on May 11, 2002, at Urbana, Ohio, to the former Linda Diane (Baysinger) Neuner. David was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William Noble.

David had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Personal Savior and had followed his Lord in baptism early in life. He was an ordained minister and had attended the Vienna Christian Life Assembly of God Church, Vienna. David was a veteran of the United States Air Force and had been a member of the American Legion in Ohio. He enjoyed playing the banjo and had been a member of the Nobles Bluegrass Gospel Travelers Family Band. David was the owner and operator of the Noble Construction Company in Urbana, Ohio, for thirty years retiring in 2000. After retirement, he moved to Vienna and enjoyed gardening, woodworking, building rock birdhouses, and building rock planters.

Those left to mourn the passing of David include: His wife, Linda Noble, of the home near Vienna,one daughter, Taughnya (James) Noffsinger, Fletcher, Ohio; three sons, David Noble, Jr., Troy, Ohio; Cirius (Beth) Noble, DeGraff, Ohio; and Edward (Jennifer) Noble, Urbana, Ohio; one step-son, Brandon Neuner, Freeburg, Missouri; one brother, Donnie Noble, Jackson, Kentucky. David had twelve grandchildren, Tricia Altic, Tiffany Lyons, Devin Noffsinger, Justin Lore, Brandon Stewart, Mackenzie Noble, Cyle Noble, Aaron Noble, Ryan Noble, Mary Noble, Jessica Noble and Curtis Noble and two great-grandchildren Aspen Chalmers and Presley Altic and other relatives and friends.

Local arrangements and transportation are under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna, Missouri. Visitation will be held at Suber-Shively Funeral Home in Fletcher Ohio on Thursday evening October 30, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. and graveside funeral services and interment in the Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher, Ohio, at 10:00 a.m., on Friday morning, October 31, 2014, under the direction of the Suber-Shively Funeral Home, Fletcher, Ohio.

There will be a memorial at Vienna Christian Life Church at a later date for David's family and friends.
