Donna Sue Ellingsworth, age 79, of Dixon, was born July 1, 1942, at Springfield, a daughter of Robert William and Juanita Cynthia (Sims) Carter, and passed from this life Tuesday, August 10, 2021, in Life Care Center, Waynesville.
She was first united in marriage November 22, 1960, at Springfield, to Stanley Duane Noe, and to this union, two children were born. Donna was later united in marriage August 18, 1972, at Springfield, to Harry Dane Fox, who preceded his wife in death April 11, 1990.
Donna accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and followed her Lord in baptism early in life and was currently a member of the Gasconade Baptist Church, near Dixon. She was a person who loved history, Cardinal baseball games, cooking, and being with her family.
During her working life, Donna had been employed at various hospitals in food service as well as being a devoted housewife and homemaker to her family.
Those left to celebrate the life of Donna include: Her two children, Ellen (Roger) Rose of Dixon, and Mark (Mary) Noe of Bellingham, Washington; three grandchildren, Anthony (Corrina) Rose of Dixon, Jack Davis of Chicago, Illinois, and Zachary Noe of Bellingham, Washington; seven great-grandchildren, Presley, Julian, Jordan Jeriah, McKenzie, Riley, and Caden; one brother, Steve (Lori) Carter, Bella Vista, Arkansas; one sister, Cynthia (Phil) Becker, Sioux City, Iowa; and other relatives and friends.
Others preceding her in death include: Her father, Robert (6-29-1977); her mother, Juanita (6-23-2001), and two brothers, Gary Carter and Robert Carter.
Visitation for Donna will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon, Friday, August 13, 2021, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 105 East Third Street, Dixon, MO 65459, with her funeral service following at 12 Noon in the chapel with Rev. Lawrence Chatman, pastor of Gasconade Baptist Church officiating.
Interment will be next to her husband, Harry, in Center Point Cemetery, Waynesville, and pallbearers will be Steve Carter, Phil Becker, Roger Rose, Anthony Rose, Danny Howlett, Kevin Davis, and Joe Davis.
Memorials are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the funeral home or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box EE, Dixon, MO 654590.
