Duane M. Jones, age 66, of Dixon, was born November 8, 1955, at Kilianstadten, Germany, a son of Eugene C. and Maria (Repp) Jones, and passed from this life Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at his residence.

Duane was united in marriage August 17, 1981, to the former Miss Donna Jean McMahan, in the old Pulaski County Courthouse, Waynesville, by Judge Tracy L. Storie.

He accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized in the Lutheran Church.

During his working life, Duane was employed as a masonry union worker laying brick and stone. Through his years of masonry, he was involved with the construction of several local churches in the area. In later years, Duane worked as a district manager for Missouri Furniture, traveling all over the state of Missouri, retiring in 2012.

Those left to mourn the passing of Duane include: His devoted wife, Donna Jones, Dixon; his mother, Maria D'Mellow, Dixon; his children, Sheila Donaldson, state of Maryland,  and Gary S. Roberts, state of Washington; his brothers and sisters, Rick Jones, Dixon, Johnny D'Mellow, Dixon, Eric D'Mellow, Germany, Heidi Jones, Dixon, Rosie D'Mellow, state of North Carolina and  Melissa D'Mellow, state of Washington; one nephew and three nieces; and other relatives and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Eugene C. Jones, on February 16, 2007.

Visitation for Mr. Duane M. Jones will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 11, 2021, in Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, MO 65582, and his funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Norm Talbert officiating.
