Emmajean Bartlett, age 92, of Rolla formerly of Dixon, was born October 12, 1929, in the City of St. Louis, a daughter of Earl and Caroline (Heidenrieht) LaFerire, and passed from this life Monday, August 1, 2022, in Phelps Health, Rolla.

She was first united in marriage on October 11, 1947, in St. Louis, to William Albert Earlin who preceded her in death on June 17, 1984.  Emmajean was later married on June 1, 1986, to Leonard A. Bartlett who also preceded her in death on January 19, 2008.

Emmajean was raised Lutheran and later became a member of the Presbyterian Church in Crocker.  In addition to raising three children in O'Fallon, she was employed at Conordia Paper Company, St. Louis, and after moving to the Dixon area she enjoyed working at Sterling's Hillbilly Store, St. Robert.  She was a devoted mother and homemaker throughout her life.

Those left to mourn the passing of Emmajean include: two daughters, Anna Haney, Waynesville, and Cathy Hunter, Dixon; nine grandchildren, Mike Haney, of Waynesville, James Haney (Kim), St. Robert, April Allen, Dupont, Washington, Dawn Campbell (Fred), Jen Hearn (Jerry), and Suzie Moore (Mike) all of Collinsville, Illinois, Cara Harker (Ashley), Dixon, Jessica Hunter, State of Iowa, and James Hunter, Buckhorn; of whom Cara Harker was her loving care giver; twenty-five great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; nephews; nieces; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husbands, Mrs. Bartlett was preceded in death by her son, William H. Earlin and wife, Barbara; granddaughter, Gena Lynn Haney; great-grandson, Connor Moore; father, Earl; mother, Caroline; son-in-law, Gene Haney; and loving spouses of grandchildren, Dalene Haney and Ron Allen.

Visitation for Mrs. Emmajean Bartlett will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 4, 2022, in Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 105 East Street, Dixon, MO 65459, with her funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel.

Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Swedeborg, MO, under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon, MO.  Pallbearers for Mrs. Bartlett will be Mike Haney, Josh Haney, Elmer McKinnon, Ashley Harker, Cara Harker, and Anna Haney.
