Ernest John Manville, of Vienna, formerly of Lebanon, New Hampshire, was born on June 13, 1941, at Hanover, New Hampshire, a son of Paul Ovila and Virginia Emma (Rancourt) Manville, and departed this life at 7:10 p.m., on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, in the SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital, Jefferson City. Mr. Manville had attained the age of 74 years, 3 months, and 18 days.
Mr. Manville was preceded in death by his father, Paul, in 1985; his mother, Virginia, in 2004; one brother, Arthur Manville, in 2013; two sisters, Constance "Connie" Lambert in 2011; and Nancy Dunn in 2006; two brothers-in-law, Richard Lambert in 1996 and Roy Luke Bassett on September 23, 1994.
Mr. Manville was a member of the Catholic Church and had worked in maintenance at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Hanover, New Hampshire, retiring in 2001 after 39 years.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Manville include: one sister, Marilyn Bassett, Vienna; one brother-in-law, Gary Dunn, Lebanon, New Hampshire; one sister-in-law, Becky Manville, Lebanon, New Hampshire; nephews; nieces; great-nephews; great-nieces; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held for Mr. Manville at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lebanon, New Hampshire under the direction of Rickers Funeral Home. Local arrangements were under the direction of the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.
