Obituary

Ethel Pauline Brumble, of Vienna, was born on April 27, 1937, in Maries County, a daughter of Calvin Leroy and Sylvia Naomi (Imboden) Brewer, and departed this life at 7:13 a.m., on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, in the Maries Manor Health Care Center, Vienna.  Mrs. Brumble had fought a brave battle with Alzheimer's disease and had attained the age of 82 years, 9 months, and 20 days.

Mrs. Brumble was united in marriage on June 16, 1956, at Herman, to Milton Virgil Brumble, and to this union, four children were born.  She had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and had followed Him in baptism early in life.

During her working life, she had been employed as a dispatcher for the Maries County Sheriff's Department and also by the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla, as an aide in Obstetrics for twenty-six years prior to her retirement.  In addition to her other employment, Mrs. Brumble had worked as a childcare provider as well as being a devoted housewife and homemaker.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing, embroidery work, and caring for animals.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Brumble include: Her children, Billy Brumble and wife, Marlene, of Mountain View, Cynthia Akery of Dixon, Rata Reeves of  Vienna, and Jr. Brumble and wife, Betty, of Dixon; eight grandchildren, Jason Brumble, Justin Brumble, Heath Akery, Brian Akery, Stephanie Akery Baggett, April Flach, Andrew Reeves, and Adam Brumble; nineteen great-grandchildren, Chayton, Trevor, Trinity, Emrie, Larsyn, Dylan, Heidi, Savanna, Nicholas, Kyle, Owen, Grant, Breanna, Hailey, Adison, Nathan, Jaxson, Anna, and Payton; her brother, Leslie Brewer, of Pueblo, Colorado; her sister, Linda Tinsley and husband, Rex, of Marionville; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton, on January 10, 2004; one son-in-law, Steve Akery, on October 4, 2003; one great-granddaughter, Sasha Baggett, on January 13, 2014; her father, Calvin, on September 7, 1976; her mother, Sylvia, on December 15, 1995;  one sister, Helen Hunziker; and one niece, Audrey Brewer.

Visitation for Mrs. Pauline Brumble will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 22, 2020, with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m., in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, Missouri 65582, with Pastor Gary Day, Hancock Christian Church, officiating.

Interment will be next to her beloved husband, Milton, in the Crismon Cemetery, near Brinktown, under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna.
