Obituary

Florence Ellen Kuelker-Fonville, age 80, of Vienna, was born June 10, 1941, at Marshfield, in Webster County, MO, a daughter of Ernest Paul and Mattie France (Shockley) Hendrix, and passed from this life Saturday, April 30, 2022, in St. James Living Center, St. James.

She was first united in marriage to Delmar "Lee" Lortz, who preceded her in death.  Florence was later married to the father of her children, Clarence Otto Fonville, who preceded his wife in death on February 9, 2011.  She again was united in marriage to Edward Kuelker, who also preceded her in death.

Florence was baptized and a member of the Catholic faith.  She especially enjoyed her hobbies which included embroidery work, crocheting, cooking, listening to music, soap operas, gardening and canning, shopping for deals, and spending time with her dog, Rocky.

During her working life, she was employed in various types of work including restaurant work at the Drive-In, Rolla; an Avon representative, Rolla; a telephone operator at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, Rolla; and again in restaurant work at Denny's, Rolla.  Throughout her life, she was also a devoted housewife and homemaker for her family.

Those left to celebrate the life of Florence include: Her children, Jim Andrew Fonville (Michelle), Bridgeton, MO; John Fredrick Fonville (Kelly), Phoeniz, AZ; and Deborah Ellen Woll (Robert), Vienna, MO; grandchildren, Tiffany Fonville (Kyle), Andrew Fonville, Alex Fonville, Marcus Fonville, Allen Jeffrey Woll (Crystal), Michael Ray Woll II (Fawn), Kenneth Wayne Woll (Kelli), Karl Wright, Scotty Wright (Alisa), Andrew Wright (Shaylinn), Allen Wright, (fiancé Brandon Harvey), Myranda Wright, Donald Wright, Clayton Wright, Michael Ray Woll II (Fawn), great-grandchildren Symphony Wright, Corey Wright, Summer Wright, Oaklyn Wright, Jeremy Woll, Garrett Woll, Logan Woll,  Bella Woll, Michael Ray Woll III, Austin Woll, William Woll, Conner Woll, Kamora Marie Woll, Kyler William-Jackson Woll, Kenny Wright, Justice Wright, and Hunter Wright; two sisters, Mary Catherine Wise, Rolla, MO, and Dorothy Louise Hendrix, Vienna, MO; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her spouses and grandson, Brian (12-26-2020), she was also preceded in death by her father, Ernest (5-2-1972); her mother, Mattie (3-11-2005); brothers and sisters, Paul Eugene Hendrix (5-1-1943), Joe Bill Hendrix (6-12-1966), Ida France Hendrix (3-7-1994), Bob Hendrix (2013), Barbara Ann Elias (2015), Charles Edward Hendrix (3-24-2017), and George Hendrix (9-22-2020).

Visitation for Mrs. Florence Kuelker-Fonville will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 9, 2022, in Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, MO 65582, with her funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Deacon Michael Brooks,
Visitation Catholic Church, Vienna, officiating.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Kuelker-Fonville will be Allen Woll, John Fonville, Michael Woll, Kyler Woll, Tiffany Fonville, and Ken Woll, and James Fonville serving as her honorary pallbearer.  Private interment will be in the Lower Davis Cemetery under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna, MO.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Florence Kuelker-Fonville are suggested per the wishes of the family to help with expenses.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral  home day of service or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, MO  65582d.
