Frances Stiebel, of Rolla, formerly of Dixon, was born on August 2, 1938, at St. Louis, a daughter of Edward and Edith Rantz, and departed this life at 2:55 p.m., on Saturday, September 15, 2018, in Silverstone Place, Rolla. Mrs. Stiebel had attained the age of 80 years, 1 month, and 13, days.

She was united in marriage in 1964, at St. Louis, to Raymond Stiebel.

During her working life, she was a Licensed Practical Nurse and was the Administrator of the Dixon Nursing Home prior to her retirement.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Stiebel include: Her husband, Raymond Stiebel, Rolla; four daughters, Debbie Wortman, Pacific; Christine Cox, Jefferson City; Tonia Rollins, Dixon; Dawn Smith, Dixon; and Tracie Barkley, Mountain Home, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward, her mother, Edith Rantz Lawrence Hamtan; and one brother, Edward Rantz, Jr.

The way Frances lived and interacted with others was the best tribute anyone could have for their life.  Fond and precious memories will always be remembered in the hearts of her dear family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
