Frederick Donald "Donnie" Allen, age 84, of Vienna, was born August 21, 1939, at Spring Creek, Maries County, Missouri, a son of Earl Reynolds "Spooge" and Lillian Marie (Murphy) Allen, and passed from this life Friday, April 19, 2024, in his home.

He was united in marriage on June 5, 1959, at Jennings, Missouri, to Joan Mary Kutrip, who preceded him in death on February 23, 2024.

Donnie was a member of the United Methodist Church, Vienna, and the South-Central Horse Show Association. He started his working career at General Motors (Fisher Body), he was  co-owner and operator of Allen Feed Company with his dad, where they distributed Houn'Dawg dog food for fifteen years, and then went on to co-own and operate Black Gold Dog Food with his brother, John, until his retirement. Donnie loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing cards, fishing, being with his cattle and horses, and traveling out West.

Those left to mourn the passing of Donnie include: his son, Kevin Allen and wife, Rhonda, of Freeburg; son-in-law, Mark Marston, of Rolla, five grandchildren, Brandon Marston, Cameron Allen (Jenn), Brett Marston (Brittney), Taylor Allen (Tori), and Lauren Crocker (Douglas); eight great-grandchildren, Bo Allen, Blayne Marston, Baker Allen, Boone Allen, Jones Allen, Dani Allen, Duke Allen, and Cal Allen; his brother, John Allen and wife, Sheila, of Vienna; nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Joan, Donnie was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Marston; his father, Earl; his mother, Lillian, one brother, James R. Allen and wife, Joyce; one niece, Barbara Allen; and one nephew, Aaron John Allen.

Visitation for Mr. Donnie Allen will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 27, 2024, in the United Methodist Church, 1102 Highway 63 North, Vienna, MO 65582, with his funeral service following at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Karen Alden officiating.

Interment will be in the Vienna Public Cemetery, Vienna, under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna. The Pallbearers for Donnie will be Cameron Allen, Taylor Allen, Lauren Crocker, Brett Marston, Douglas Crocker, and Brad Allen. The honorary pallbearer will be Brandon Marston.
