Georgia Catherine Boehmer, of Freeburg, was born on April 27, 1932, at Freeburg, a daughter of Fritz William and Regina Magdalena (Morfeld) Falter, and departed this life at 9:50 a.m., on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, in Westphalia Hills Nursing Home, Westphalia.  Mrs. Boehmer had attained the age of 87 years, 4 months, and 6 days.

She was united in marriage on November 9, 1957, at Freeburg, to Joseph Leo Boehmer, and to this union, one daughter was born.

Mrs. Boehmer was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg, and she especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also liked gardening and being diligent in providing for the needs of her family as well as being a devoted housewife and homemaker during her working life.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Boehmer include: Her son-in-law, Mark Berhorst, of                                  Freeburg; one granddaughter, Christine Ragan, and husband, Jeremy, of Troy, along with two great-grandsons, Austin Ragan and Tyler Ragan; one grandson, Craig Berhorst, and wife, Jennifer, of Freeburg, along with two great-grandchildren, Lettie Berhorst and Rhett Berhorst; one brother, Harold Falter, and wife, Judy, of  Freeburg; one sister, Margaret Sankey, and husband, Greg, of Freeburg; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, on June 13, 2012; her daughter, Linda Catherine Berhorst, on September 3, 1992; and three brothers, Felix Conrad Falter on August 16, 2006, Roman Joseph Falter on January 18, 2018; and Ambrose Falter.

Visitation for Mrs. Georgia C. Boehmer will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, September 5, 2019, with a Prayer Service at 4:45 p.m., and from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., on Friday, September 6, 2019, in the Holy Family Catholic Church, 104 Oliver Street, Freeburg, Missouri  65035.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Georgia C. Boehmer will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, September 6, 2019, in the Holy Family Catholic Church, 104 Oliver Street, Freeburg, Missouri  65035, with the Rev. William D. Debo as the Celebrant.

Interment will be next to her beloved husband, Joe, in the Holy Family Cemetery, Freeburg, under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna. Pallbearers Mrs. Boehmer will be Craig Berhorst, Jeremy Ragan, Bill Bure, David Sankey, Glen Sankey, and Jeff Falter.
