Hollis Delaney Therkelsen, of Dixon, was born on June 19, 1984, at Rolla, a daughter of Ronald Junior and Brenda Elaine (Garrett) Griffin, and departed this life at 6:45 a.m., Thursday morning, October 18, 2018, at her residence in rural Dixon. Hollis had attained the age of 34 years, 3 months and 29 days.

Those left to mourn the passing of Hollis include:  Her son, Riley Joseph Newkirk, of the home; Riley's father, Joe Newkirk, of Dixon; her parents, Ronald and Brenda Griffin, of Crocker; her maternal grandmother, Margaret Garrett, of Dixon; Riley's grandfather, Paul Newkirk, of Dixon; her step-brother, Ronald Junior Griffin II (Stacey), of  Layton, Utah; her step-sister, Heather Pendergrass, of Clarksville, Tennessee; and other relatives and friends.

Hollis was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, H. Keith Garrett on July 19, 2009.

Memorials are suggested per the wishes of the family for the benefit of her son, Riley.
