Ian Michael Lake, age 20, of Vienna, was born March 7, 2005, in Jefferson City, a son of Karl Robert and Alesia Mae (Yallaly) Lake, and passed from this life on Monday, March 24, 2025.
At the age of 16, Ian started work at Parts City, Belle, and over the last four years he advanced into the position of manager prior to his passing.
From a young age, Ian loved riding scooters, 4-wheelers, and jet skis, and over time he grew to love riding motorcycles. He enjoyed riding with his Fort Leonard Wood buddies, making loops from Vienna to Lake Ozarks and back. Not only did he love riding motorcycles, but Ian also enjoyed fixing up motorcycles and cars and playing iRacing on his computer. But what he loved most of all was spending time with his family and caring for his Granny.
Those left to mourn the passing of Ian include: his father, Karl Lake and wife, Sarah, of Vienna; his mother, Alesia Lake and boyfriend, Ed Smart, of Vienna; his brother, Morgan Lake and wife, Ally, of Vienna; paternal grandmother, Carolyn Lake, of Vienna; maternal grandparents, Marty and Connie Yallaly, of Rensselaer, Indiana; uncles and aunts, Ed and Tammy Lake, of Vienna; Mary Ellen Parsons and fiancé, Keith Tippit, of Warrenton; and Sean and DeAnne Yallaly, of Rensselaer, Indiana; and many other relatives and friends.
Ian was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Karl Lake, on February 6, 2024.
Visitation for Ian will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon, Monday, March 31, 2025, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home Chapel, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, MO 65582, with his prayer service following at 12 noon.
Honorary pallbearers for Ian will be Carsyn Wilder, Layne Newton, John Yallaly, Peyton Sells, and Kaedin Miller.
Memorial contributions in memory of Ian Lake are suggested per the wishes of the family, with envelopes available at the funeral home on the day of service or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, MO 65582.
