Janelle Duke, age 78, of Golden, Colorado, was born September 20, 1946, a daughter of William Everett and Gloria Glenda (Cooper) Poor, and passed from this life on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at her residence in Colorado.

During her working life Janelle was an accountant for the federal government. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be greatly missed by all.

Those left to mourn the passing of Janelle include: her daughters, Jenness Melanie (Duke) Ivie and husband Scott Alan  Ivie of Arvada, Colorado and Laura Michelle (Duke) Stansbury and husband Todd Vance Stansbury of Centennial, Colorado; four grandchildren, John Cooper Ivie, William Everett Stansbury, Audrey Grace Stansbury, and Emerson Renee Stansbury; one brother, Roger Lynn Poor; two sisters, Diana Jean Beard and Jacqui Poor; and many other relatives and friends.

Janelle was preceded in death by her father, William in 1968; and her mother, Gloria in 2005.

A graveside service will be held for Janelle on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.  in the Snodgrass Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna
