Obituary

Janet Ruth Davis, age 41, of Dixon, was born on January 14, 1981, at St. Louis, a daughter of Bobby Gene and Angie R. (Reyes) Rodgers, and departed this life on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in Phelps Health, Rolla.

Janet was united in marriage on July 30, 2021, at Dixon, to Joseph Lee Davis, who survives.

During her working life, she had been employed by the Quaker Window Products Company, Freeburg, as an assembly line worker in the Vinyl Department.  She enjoyed scrap booking, crafts, old cars, nail art, and loved thunderstorms.

In addition to her husband, Joe "Dirt" Davis, of the home near Dixon, she is survived by one son, Jordan Matthew Davis, of the home; her siblings, Robert Rodgers, Columbia; Renee Reyes, San Marcos, Texas; Timothy E. Rodgers, San Marcos, Texas; Larry Rodgers, Jefferson City; and Janice L. Rodgers, of the state of Texas; her father and mother-in-law, Gary Lee and Susie Davis, Dixon; uncles and aunts, Roger and Ellen Sue Rose, Dixon; and J.R. and Kimberly Rose, St. James; and brothers-in-law, Kevin Davis (Tina), Dixon; Jamie Davis (Mickey), Pierce City; Michael Davis (Melissa), Vienna; and Danny Davis (Lisa), Dixon; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby, on November 15, 2020; her mother, Angie, on May 21, 1997; and one brother, Kevin Rodgers.

Visitation for Mrs. Janet Davis will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2022, in Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 105 East Third Street, Dixon, MO 65459, with her memorial service following at 12 Noon in the funeral chapel.  Honorary pallbearers for Janet are Gary Davis, Kevin Davis, Michael David, Danny Davis, Ryan Davis, and Jordan Davis.

Fond and precious memories of Janet will always be in the hearts of her dear family and all who knew and loved her.
