Janet Sue Gant, of Vienna, was born on January 2, 1944, at Vienna, a daughter of Benjamin Perry "Bennie" and Minnie Bernadine (Ihler) Eads, and departed this life at 2:34 p.m., on Saturday, December 28, 2019, in the Maries Manor Health Care Center, Vienna.  She had been in failing health for some time and had attained the age of 75 years, 11 months, and 27 days.

Sue was united in marriage on April 27, 1968, at Vienna, to Cloris "Fuzz" Burdette Gant, and to this union, four children were born.

She began her working life at Quaker Window Products, Freeburg, and later with the Maries-Osage Ambulance District in 1985 retiring in 2015 after thirty plus years.  Sue enjoyed anything to do with her grandchildren and attending as many of their activities as possible, was an avid flower gardener, and an excellent cook, as well as being a devoted housewife and homemaker.

Those left to mourn the passing of Sue include: Her three daughters, Becky Peterman (Steve); Angie Struemph (Dale), and Amy Helton (Vernon), all of Vienna ; four grandchildren, Miranda Peterman, Makayla Peterman, Alexi Struemph, and Veronica Helton; two step-grandchildren, Leslie Barnhart (Sam) and Marcus Struemph (Victoria); five step-great-grandchildren, Hudson, Hoyt and Beckett Barnhart, and Hattie and Eleanor Struemph; one sister, Wilma Helton, Vienna; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fuzz, on November 29, 2015; one son, Jeffery "Bucky" Eads, on April 11, 1986; her father Benjamin "Bennie", on December 2, 1993; her mother, Minnie, on January 31, 1994; four brothers, Benjamin Paul Eads, on May 7, 1981, John Arthur "Snoozer" Buelterman, on November 11, 1993,  Levi Glennon "Glen" Eads, on December 18, 2010, and Wesley Eads, on  June 27, 2014; one sister, Dorothy Ellen Gant, on December 26, 2019.

Visitation for Mrs. Janet Sue Gant will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., on Monday, December 30, 2019, and from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, in the Vienna United Methodist Church, 1102 Highway 63 North, Vienna, Missouri 65582.

Funeral services for Mrs. Janet Sue Gant will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, December 31, 2019,  in the Vienna United Methodist Church, 1102 Highway 63 North, Vienna, Missouri 65582., with Rev. Lynn Quist officiating.

Interment will be in the Vienna Public Cemetery by Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna.  Pallbearers for Mrs. Gant will be Steve Peterman, Dale Struemph, Vernon Helton, Marcus Struemph, Dusty Foster, and Nick Willoughby.  Honorary pallbearers will be Miranda Peterman, Makayla Peterman, Alexi Struemph, Veronica Helton, Alex Luebbert, Dylan Lewis, and Josiah Homan.
