Jeffrey "Jeff" Allen Henson, of Dixon, was born on August 18, 1964, at Waynesville, a son of Lloyd Allen and Marie (Looney) Henson, and departed this life at 11:49 a.m., Thursday, January 1, 2015, in the Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis. Jeff had been in failing health for some time and had attained the age of 50 years, 4 months, and 14 days.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd on June 9, 2010; his paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents.
He was a member of the Pisgah Baptist Church, Dixon, where he had accepted Jesus Christ as his Personal Savior at the age of nine years and followed his Lord in baptism. Jeff worked for Cable America for twenty plus years retiring in October of 2013 due to his health. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and just being outside. Jeff especially enjoyed being with his family, he was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephew, and loved to take them four-wheeling.
Those left to mourn his passing include: His mother, Marie Henson, Dixon; one sister and brother-in-law, Sally and Rex Wall, Richland; four nieces and one nephew, Alissa Cornelison, Lindsay Navarro, Emma Cornelison, Ella Cornelison, and Brevyn Navarro; Uncles; Aunts; and many other relatives and friends.
Fond and precious memories will remain in the hearts of his dear family and all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 5, 2015, in the Pisgah Baptist Church, Dixon.

Visitation will be 10 – 11 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2015, in the Pisgah Baptist Church, Dixon, all arrangements under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.
