Jennifer Lynn (Ruppel) Poulson, of Round Rock, Texas, was born June 8, 1971, in St. Louis, a daughter of Ronald and Lois Elaine (Warnol) Ruppel, and departed this life at 8:40 a.m., on Monday, January 25, 2021, in St. David's Round Rock Medical Center, Round Rock, Texas. She had attained the age of 49 years, 7 months, and 17 days.
Jennifer was united in marriage on March 9, 1996, in Boca Raton, Florida, to Kent Alan Poulson, and to this union, five sons were born.
She had made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior and was confirmed in the Presbyterian faith. Jennifer was a graduate of the University of Florida, Gainsville, Florida, with a degree in Information Management Systems and was a sorority member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She loved her animals and enjoyed English horseback riding.
Jennifer excelled as a housewife, homemaker, and was a devoted wife to her husband and mother to her five sons. Always active in her community, she was a member of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) where her sons attended school, a volunteer at their school and baseball activities, and had served as the president of their neighborhood homeowners association.
Those left to mourn the passing of Jennifer include: Her husband, Kent Poulson, of the home in Round Rock, Texas; her five sons, Trevor, Carter, Riley, Morgan, and Sawyer, all of Round Rock, Texas; her parents, Ronald and Elaine Ruppel; one brother, Craig Ruppel (Corrie), and nieces, Ashley and Haley; one sister, Terri Ann Gore (Tim), and children, Alexander and Kaitlynn; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Carol Poulson; her maternal aunt, Margaret Schlueter (Bill); her paternal uncles, Robert Ruppel (Joyce), and Richard Ruppel (Shirley); cousins; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Cecil Louis and Lou Fern (Hughes) Warnol, and her paternal grandparents, Robert and Thelma (Dawson) Ruppel.
Family and friends are welcome to attend the visitation and service for Jennifer while following social guidelines and are encouraged to wear personal masks or other personal protective equipment while in attendance.
Visitation for Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Poulson will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 30, 2021, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 105 East Third Street, Dixon, Missouri 65459, with her funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Jack Caple, Pastor of First Baptist Church, Dixon, officiating.
Interment will be in the Pisgah Cemetery, near Dixon, under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Dixon.
Immediately following the cemetery service, the Poulson family extends an invitation to all in attendance to share a meal with them at Alex's Pizza, 122 West Eight Street, Rolla, Missouri 65401.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Poulson are suggested by her family to MD Anderson Cancer Center or to the Stony Point High School Baseball Booster Club (sptigerbaseball.com) with envelopes available at the funeral home or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O.
