Joyce Edna Laubert, age 82, of Vienna, was born April 1, 1939, at St. Louis, the daughter of Carl Theodore and Grace Edna (Schroeder) Halker, and passed from this life Sunday, September 26, 2021, at her residence.

She was united in marriage February 7, 1959, at Maplewood, to Richard Daniel "Dan" Laubert, Sr., and to this union, three sons were born.

Joyce was a member of Visitation Catholic Church, Vienna.  She was also a member of the Visitation Ladies Quilting Group and had assisted with the local food pantry and the food program at school.  During her working life, Joyce was a devoted housewife and homemaker to her husband and family.  Activities she especially enjoyed included embroidery work, gardening, flowers, lawn work, and feeding and watching her birds.

Those left to celebrate the life of Mrs. Laubert include:  Two sons, Richard "Rick" Laubert, Jr. of Vienna, and Ronald Laubert of Warrensburg; four grandchildren, Derick Laubert, Desiree Laubert, Amber Willard, and Heather Laubert; five great-grandchildren, Adilynn, Adrian, Averie, Maxwell, and Isaac; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan (10-18-1998); one son, Robert Frank "Bobby" Laubert (11-23-1980); her father, Carl (9-27-1997); and her mother, Grace (5-23-1995).

Visitation for Mrs. Joyce Laubert will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 1, 2021, in Visitation Catholic Church, 105 North Main Street, Vienna, MO 65582, with her Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 a.m. in the church with Rev. Basil Tigga as the celebrant and Deacon Michael Brooks assisting, under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.

Interment will be in the Visitation Cemetery, Vienna, by Birmingham-Martin, Vienna.  Pallbearers for Mrs. Laubert will be Derick Laubert, Silas Magill, Gayle Bax, Gerald Bax, Keith Weidinger, and Gene Jones.

Immediately following the cemetery interment ceremony, the Laubert family extends an invitation to all in attendance to share a meal with them in the Visitation school cafeteria located in Koerber Hall (Knights of Columbus), 206 6th Street, Vienna, MO 65582.
