Obituary

Judith Marie "Judy" Wieberg, age 69, of Freeburg, was born August 27, 1955, at Taos, a daughter of Edwin Anton and Veronica Theresa (Schnieders) Toebben, and passed from this life on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at SSM St. Mary's Hospital, Jefferson City.

She was united in marriage on July 24, 1976, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, to Mr. John Joseph Wieberg, and to this union three children were born.

Judy was a 1974 graduate of Blair Oaks High School and a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg. She was a homemaker and housewife who loved being with her family, especially her eleven grandchildren. Judy also enjoyed her little dog "Gizmo", playing bingo, and watching soap operas.

Those left to mourn the passing of Judy include: her husband, John Wieberg of the home in Freeburg; her two sons, Jason Wieberg and wife, Jenny of Westphalia, and Joe Wieberg of Freeburg; her daughter,  Jody Wieberg of Linn; eleven grandchildren, Tessa Wieberg, Quentin Berry, Ethan Wieberg, Alexis Wieberg, Miranda Berry, Aubrey Wieberg, Sarah Berry, Emily Berry, Cheyanne Berry, Isla Wieberg, and Rhett Wieberg; her siblings and spouses, Alvin Toebben (LaVern Lage) of Jefferson City, Lorene Brandt of Jefferson City, Albert Toebben (Doris) of Wardsville, Mary Jane Schaefer of Westphalia, Louis Toebben (Delphine) of Jefferson City, Agnes Schwartz of Westphalia, Jerry Toebben (Shirley) of Jefferson City, Eddie Toebben (Sherry) of Loose Creek, Harvey Toebben of Jefferson City, Darlene Russell of St. Thomas, Debbie Peters (Russell)  of Linn, and Vickie Holtmeyer (Gerald) of Bonnots Mill; and many other relatives and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her father Edwin, on February 28, 2002; her mother Veronica, on June 27, 1989; a sister, Anna Marie Lackman on July 20, 2010; a brother, Bobby Toebben June 14, 1970; her father and mother-in-law, Edward and Marie Wieberg; sisters-in-law, Peggy Toebben, Generose Toebben, and Laverne Toebben; and six bothers-in-law, David Lackman Sr.,  Roman Brandt, Leo Schaefer, Jerry Schwartz, Greg Russell, and Jim Coffman.

Visitation for Mrs. Judy Wieberg will be held, Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., and Monday, January 27, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with her Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 a.m., all in the Holy Family Catholic Church, 104 Oliver Street, Freeburg, MO 65035, with Father William Debo as celebrant, under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.

Interment for Mrs. Judy Wieberg will be held in the Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Freeburg. Pallbearers for Judy will be Quentin Berry, Ethan Wieberg, Jamie Wieberg, Jesse Reinkemeyer, KJ Schwartz, and Larry Lynch. Honorary pallbearer for Judy will be Rhett Wieberg.

Memorials in memory of Judy Wieberg are suggested by the family for masses with envelopes available at the church the day of her service or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, MO 65582.
