June Carollee Goodman of Dixon, was born January 22, 1934, and passed from this life Saturday, January 22, 2022. She was the daughter of Virgil and Charity (Martin) Brown. She had attained the age of 88.
She was united in marriage September 1, 1956, to Roland Meryl Goodman. To this union, three daughters were born.
June was baptized early in life and attended the Methodist church. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, crafts, puzzles, and being with her family. June was a devoted wife and mother.
Those left to celebrate the life of June Goodman include: Her daughters, Carol Simmons of Nixa; Holly Fuller and husband, Bradford, of Waynesville; and Whither Dollarhide and husband, Tyrone, of Ballwin; her grandchildren, Brent Simmons (Jenn), Faith Jones (Brian), Honeylee Strain (Chad), Hayley Richardson (Ben), Joel Fuller (Hailey), Harper Dollarhide, Tenley Dollarhide, and Sawyer Dollarhide; her great-grandchildren, Desmond, Fiona, Lily, Lola, Zoe, Ansley, Mylee, Presley, Rockford, Olive June, and Norah; her great-great-grandson, Reed; and other relatives and friends.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Goodman; her parents, Virgil and Charity Brown; and her only brother, Virgil Brown, Jr.
A graveside funeral service will be held for June Goodman, at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2022, in the Dixon Cemetery, West Chestnut Street, Dixon, Mo 65459, with Chad Strain officiating, by Birmingham-Martin, Dixon. Honorary pallbearers for June will be Brent Simmons, Brian Jones, Brad Fuller, Chad Strain, Ben Richardson, Joel Fuller, Ty Dollarhide, and Sawyer Dollarhide.
Memorials in memory of June Goodman are suggested by her family to the Dixon Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund. Envelopes will be available the day of service or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box EE, Dixon, Mo 65459
