Georgia June Rollins, of Crocker, was born on July 5, 1936, near the town of Hooker, in Pulaski County, a daughter of George Lavern and Ellen Clara (Henson) Sheldon, and departed this life at 4:55 a.m., on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, in the Lebanon North Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lebanon. June had been in failing health for some time and had attained the age of 80 years, 3 months, and 13 days.

She was united in marriage on July 5, 1980, at Dixon, to William Joe Rollins, who was born on May 21, 1937, near the town of Brinktown, in Maries County, a son of William Allen "Willie" and Mary Dewey (Boyce) Rollins.

June had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Personal Savior early in life and had followed her Lord in baptism. She and her husband, Bill, attended the Wheeler Church of Christ, near Dixon, as long as her health permitted. June especially enjoyed going fishing, gardening, caring for her family, and doing activities with her friends and family. During her working life, June enjoyed one of the most important jobs a person could do, and that was being a devoted housewife, a loving homemaker, and a person diligent in providing for the needs of her family.

Those left to mourn the passing of June include: Her husband of 36 years, William Joe "Bill" Rollins of the home near Crocker; her step-children, Angie and Randy Alexander of Dixon, Debbie Goosey of Ozark, Bill and Annie Rollins of Swedeborg, and Jim Rollins and Sherri Rollins, both of Dixon; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Don and Mary Sheldon of Jefferson City, Lonnie and Pat Sheldon of Concord, North Carolina, and Wendell "Butch" Null of Dixon; one sister, Linda Fenton, of Dixon; and her twin nieces, Glenda Schepers and Malinda DiBlasi, who she helped raise, along with other nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.

June was preceded in death by one infant son, Billy Gene Crane, at the age of three months; her father, George, on March 3, 1965; her mother, Ellen, on April 19, 2003; two brothers, Harvey Lavern Sheldon on February 17, 2006, and Billy Joe Null on December 25, 2006; and three sisters, Ruth Lachowicz on March 22, 2005, Joyce Richards in 2005, and Wilma Massey on July 12, 2014.
