Karen Ann Wallis, age 65, of Dixon, was born December 30, 1958, at Spokane, Washington, a daughter of Louis and Betty (Linderer) Castellana, and passed from this life on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Mercy Hospital, Washington.

She was united in marriage on June 28, 2003, at Waynesville, MO, to Michael David Wallis.

During her working life, Karen was a sale associate at Wal-Mart, St. Robert, for eleven years. She enjoyed catching up with her friends and family on Facebook and loved animals, especially cats.

Those left to mourn the passing of Karen include: her loving husband, Michael of their home near Dixon; one daughter, Kristie Rios and husband, Casey of Oklahoma City, OK; two grandchildren, Rexton Rios and Ryder Rios, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother, Jerry Castellana of Yuba City, California; sister, Janet Lutz-Berkebile of Highland, California; mother-in-law, Georgia Pearman of Dixon; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis, her mother, Betty, and one brother Patrick Castellana.

Following the wishes of Karen, the family elected cremation under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon. An inurnment service will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Waynesville, MO.
