Karl Marion Bade, age 63, of Rolla, was born February 16, 1960, at Rolla, a son of Leonard Loyd and Catherine Mary (Volmert) Bade, and passed from this life Friday, June 2, 2023, in Phelps Health, Rolla.

He was a parishioner and usher at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Rolla.  Karl was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed his volunteer commitments with both.  During his working life, he was employed by Phelps Health, Rolla, in Food Service, for several years and then by Missouri University of Science and Technology, in Custodial Work, for eight years.  Karl will be missed most for his outgoing, loving, and joyful personality.

Those left to celebrate the life of Karl include:  His three surviving brothers, Bernard Bade (Martha) of New Franklin, Missouri; Leonard Bade II of Fort Worth, Texas; and John Bade (Martha) of University City, Missouri; nephews; nieces; cousins; many other relatives; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard, on April 15, 1997; and his mother, Catherine, on December 1, 2011.

Visitation for Mr. Karl Bade will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 17 St. Patrick's Lane, Rolla, Missouri 65401, with his Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Greg Meystrik as the celebrant, under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.

Interment for Karl will be next to his beloved parents in the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish Cemetery, Vienna.
