Kenneth Joseph Wulff, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, formerly of Vienna, was born on October 2, 1951, at Jefferson City, the son of Victor John and Coletta Christine (Werdenhause) Wulff, and departed this life on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at his residence. He had attained the age of 66 years, 6 months, and 10 days.
Ken was a graduate of the Vienna High School and the University of Missouri and had been employed as a Loan Officer for Movement Mortgage near where he lived. He was also an excellent horse trainer and had won championships for his efforts with Tennessee Walking Horses and was recognized by the Tennessee Walking Horse Association.
A gregarious and big hearted soul, Ken was known to be an accomplished cook, who could easily have become a professional chef. He also loved sports, working on his landscaping, and motorcycling.
Those left to mourn the passing of Ken include: His wife, Rita King Bishop; daughters, Candace Mills and Caresse Hyneman; son, Victor King; step-son, Ashley Bishop; step-daughter, Bonnie Paik; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Robert Wulff of Texas County, and Don Brunnert and wife, Gloria, of Vienna; one sister, Norma Hughes, of Jefferson City; one brother-in-law, Jim Oligschlaeger, of Licking; nephews; nieces; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vic, on August 6, 1986; his mother, Coletta, on June 14, 1982; two sisters, Verna Oligschlaeger on January 2, 2016, and Joan Buschmann on April 4, 2017; and one brother-in-law, Alvin Buschmann, on September 7, 1969.
A Life Celebration Funeral Service was conducted for Mr. Kenneth J. Wulff at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, April 20, 2018, in the Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Tennessee, with Pastor Ray Frizell, Jr. officiating and family and friends participating in the service as well.
Local assistance was by the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna with correspondence to the family in memory of Mr. Kenneth J. Wulff in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, Missouri 65582.
