Kristen Leigh
Stratman
Jun 12, 1977 — Apr 21, 2019
Kristen Leigh Stratman sparkled into our life on June 12, 1977 and left us heartbroken on April 21, 2019. Kristen was a passionate being, who loved with her whole heart. She was an artist who bedazzled and glittered everything, and on occasion everyone. No one could achieve the Elvis lip like her. Some called her Cheese or even Noodle Nose but she preferred Sparkleigh, a nickname she gave herself (and subsequently had tattooed on her). She hunted fairies and arrowheads alike, with an eagle eye for bird points. Her laugh was contagious with puns that no one could match.
She loved her daughters with every ounce of her soul, they were her being. We will never forget her infamous egg roll nights, and the secret to her awesome biscuits and gravy. Sugar. Kristen wouldn't want anybody to be sad and it is a comfort knowing that she will be reunited with loving arms by Richard Miller and John Falter.
Kristen leaves behind her daughters, Darien Hollis, Vienna, and Shayla Stratman, Freeburg; her parents, Kenny and Pat Stratman, Vichy; sister, Kendall Williams and husband, Eric, Freeburg; nephew, Ashton Stratman, Freeburg; her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Stratman, Freeburg; and other relative and friends.
She was preceded in death by her boy friend, George McNeese who passed with her in the accident; paternal grandfather, Herbert Stratman; and maternal grandparents, Thomas and Marcella Parker.
Visitation for Kristen will be held in the Visitation Catholic Church, 101 North Main Street, Vienna, Missouri 65582, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 26, 2019, with her funeral following at 11:00 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Matthew Flatley.
