Larry Dale Board, age 66, of Vichy, was born January 19, 1958, at Butler, Missouri, a son of Glen Leroy and Marjorie Lou (Kearns) Board, and passed from this life on Friday, February 2, 2024, at his home near Vichy, surrounded by his loving family.  He said he would be promoted when he passed away, and he has been.

He was united in marriage February 22, 1979, at Hume, Missouri, to the former Miss Connie Sue Wood, and to this union two daughters were born.

Larry was baptized early in life and was a member of the Vichy Campground Church of God, Vichy. In 1982, 1983, and 1984, he served as a missionary on mission trips to Haiti, where he helped build churches, schools, and other improvements. Larry grew up on a dairy farm and was part of the Dairy Heard Improvement Association, as a milk tester, in Missouri and Kansas for 27 plus years.

Those left to mourn the passing of Larry include: his loving wife of 44 years, Connie, of the home near Vichy; two daughters, Lori Jean Robbins and husband, George, of Rolla, and Kelli Elizabeth Alcantara and husband, Jeremy, of St. James; three grandchildren, Wayne Dale, Glen Eugene, and Emma Jean; sister-in-law, Nancy Board, Lee's Summit; nephews, nieces, with greats as well, and many other relatives and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Glen on December 11, 2014; his mother Marjorie on June 5, 1996; and two brothers, James "Jim" Board and John Board both in 2021.

Visitation for Mr. Larry Board will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 15, 2024, with funeral services at 11:00 a.m., all in the Vichy Campground Church of God, 1711 Maries Road 440, Vichy, MO 65580, with Bro. Clarence Campbell officiating, under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.

Interment will be in Vichy Campground Church of God Cemetery, under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna. Pallbearers for Larry will be George Robbins, Jeremy Alcantara, Alec Entrikin, Heath Oates, Brian Board, and Mark Briscoe. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Williams and John Ford.

Immediately following the cemetery service for Larry, the Board family extends an invitation to all in attendance to share a meal with them in the Vichy Campground Church of God fellowship hall.
