Larry Ralph Wiles, age 73, of Dixon, was born August 25, 1950, a son of Ralph George and Bonnie Maxine (Albertson) Wiles, and passed from this life on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was united in marriage by Pastor Travis John, in Vichy, on November 12, 1971, to Beverly Ann Fick, and to this union two sons were born.

Larry was a lifetime member of the Mid-Mo Buckskinner Pre-1840 Club. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and fishing, working on cars, guns, working on clocks, and especially spending time with his family. Larry will always be remembered for his kindness to others and the fact that he never met a stranger.

During his working life, Larry worked for Quaker Windows, Freeburg, Wansing Small Engine, Vienna, helping the business get started, and was a self-employed jack of all trades.

Those left to celebrate the life of Larry include: his loving wife of 52 years, Bev, of the home near Dixon; one son, Curtis Wiles and wife, Rachel, of Dixon; eight grandchildren, Jenna, Colton, Tiffany, Ashley, Anthony, Tylor, Jason, and Gracie; six great-grandchildren, Dakota, Dominic, Harley, Damian, Bentley, and Christine; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie Wiles and wife, Debbie, of Iberia, Mike Wiles and friend, Joy James, of Eugene, Randy Wiles and wife, Alice, of Dixon, Darryl Wiles and wife, Kelly, of Dixon, and Jamie Wiles and wife, Becky, of Freeburg; many other relatives and a host of friends.

Larry was preceded in death by one son, Martin Wayne Wiles on October 26, 2014; his father Ralph on September 12, 2023, his mother, Bonnie on November 10, 2022; sister, Brenda Carol Carter on June 27, 2009; one nephew, Jason Douglas Dake on May 24, 2006; father -in-law, Joseph Ferdinand Fick on April 25, 2003; mother-in-law, Luella Elizabeth Fick on October 1, 2021.

Visitation for Mr. Larry Wiles will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 22, 2024, in the Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 37515 Highway N, Brinktown, MO 65443, with his funeral following at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Michael Brooks officiating under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.

Immediately following the service in church, all in attendance are invited to the Guardian Angels fellowship hall for a meal. After the meal the family invites anyone in attendance to the interment that will be held at Lambeth Cemetery, near Vienna. Pallbearers for Mr. Larry Wiles will be Zeb Wiles, Boone Wiles, Donovan Wiles, Brandon Wiles, Jon Wiles, Jimmy Wiles, Aaron Wiles, and Blake Wiles. Honorary Pallbearers for Mr. Larry Wiles will be Ron Wiles, Mike Wiles, Randy Wiles, Darryl Wiles, and Jamie Wiles.
