Lawrence Douglas "Larry" White, age 61, of Rich Fountain, was born December 9, 1959, in the state of Texas, a son of Robert Charles and Betty Lou (Wallace) White, and passed from this life Saturday, November 20, 2021, at his residence.
He was a 1977 graduate of the Maries R-1 High School, Vienna, and a United States Air Force veteran. Larry accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized September 5, 2021, at Lane Springs State Park, Rolla.
He was united in marriage March 18, 1978, at Vienna, to the former Miss Deborah Sue "Debbie" Hertzing, and to this union, two daughters were born.
During his working life, Larry was employed at Quaker, Modine, Playmor, and Missouri Department of Corrections as a Security Officer. He enjoyed playing his guitar, mandolin, and really liked all kinds of music.
Those left to mourn the passing of Larry include: His wife of almost forty-four years, Debbie, of the home; two daughters, Patricia Cheek and husband, Michael, of Morrison, and Joanie Nadeau and husband, Roger, of Rich Fountain; four grandchildren, Austin, Brian, Hailey, and Dalton, and the first great-grandchild expected in May of 2022; two brothers, Randall White and wife, Sandy, of Dixon, and Rodney White and wife, Norma, of Marshall; two sisters, Dora Chambers and Catherine Ousley, both of Jefferson City; nephews; nieces; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, on April 28, 1997; his mother, Betty, on September 7, 1997; one brother, Bradley White; one nephew, Cody Thomas Ousley; and one niece, Autumn Paige Ousley.
Visitation and viewing of Mr. Lawrence White will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, MO 65582, with military honors following at 6:00 p.m. in front of the funeral home.
Private family inurnment for Larry will be next to his parents and other relatives in Clifty Cemetery near Dixon. Honorary pallbearers for Larry will be Austin White, Brian White, Dalton White, and Matt Hagan.
Memorial contributions in memory of Larry are suggested by his family to help with funeral expenses with envelopes available at the funeral home or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, MO 65582
