Obituary

Lisa Marie Wieberg Sandbothe, of Jefferson City, formerly of Argyle, was born on June 25, 1962, at Jefferson City, a daughter of Tobias Joseph and Delores Ann (Stegeman) Wieberg, and departed this life at 4:00 a.m., on Sunday, July 5, 2015, in the Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility, Jefferson City. Lisa had been in failing health for some time and had attained the age of 53 years and 11 days.

During her working life, Lisa had been employed in clerical work at Lincoln University and later by Gerbes Supermarket in the bakery, both in Jefferson City, as well as being a devoted housewife and homemaker. During her employment in the bakery at Gerbes, people often asked Lisa to advise them on what was needed for a certain special occasion because of her exceptional decorating and baking talent. Activities Lisa especially enjoyed were, of course, baking, cooking, gardening, canning and preserving the harvest from her garden, and being a dedicated mother to her children.

Those left to mourn the passing of Lisa include: Her precious children, Christian Marie Sandbothe, Jefferson City; Steven Joseph Sandbothe, Westphalia; and Mary Beth Sandbothe, California; four brothers, James L. "Jim" Wieberg and wife, Diane, of Jefferson City; Gary R. Wieberg and wife, Margie, of Freeburg; and Richard L. "Dick" Wieberg and wife, Janice, and Michael L. "Mike" Wieberg and wife, Becky, of Argyle; her sister, Patricia G. "Pat" Steinman and husband, Arnold, of Argyle; sister-in-law, Donna Wieberg, of Argyle; the grandparents of her children, Ed and Alma Sandbothe, of Taos; nephews; nieces; and other relatives and friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Toby, on December 12, 1996; her mother, Delores, on May 10, 1990; and her brother, Glen Wilford Wieberg, on February 27, 2003.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Lisa was celebrated at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 9, 2015, in the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Argyle with the Rev. James Finder as the Celebrant.

Interment was in the St. Aloysius Cemetery under the direction of the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes. Pallbearers for Lisa will be Dustin Steinman, Bryan Steinman, Chuck Wieberg, Bradley J. Wieberg, Ryan Wieberg, and Brent Stratman.

Memorials are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Argyle or the Vienna Office of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, Missouri 65582.
