Obituary

Lorene May Bilyeu, age 94, of Vienna, was born July 17, 1927, at St. James, a daughter of Frank and Effie (Davis) Hussey, and passed from this life Saturday, March 5, 2022, in Maries Manor, Vienna.

She was first united in marriage to Raymond Harold Copeland, who preceded his wife in death, and Lorene was later united in marriage to Joseph Bilyeu, who also preceded his wife in death.

Mrs. Bilyeu accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and was baptized early in life.  During her working life, she had one of the most important jobs a person could have as a loving and devoted housewife and homemaker to her family.  Lorene's favorite hobby was quilting, leaving precious treasures done with her skillful hands to her family.

Those left to celebrate the life of Mrs. Bilyeu include:  Her two devoted daughters, Sharen Kleffner of St. Louis, and Lynn Sebben and husband, Donald, of Ballwin; her beloved daughter-in-law, Laverne Copeland, of Vienna; six grandchildren, Tammy Bellamy, Jeffrey Kleffner, David McKinney (Kristen), Bethany Sebben, Neil Copeland, and Nathan Copeland; seven great-grandchildren, Austin McKinney (Mariah), Jordan McKinney, Richard Bellamy IV, Sarah Bellamy, Madison Bellamy, Mason Bellamy, and Kegan Russey; one great-great-grandson, Sade Duchesneau; one brother, William Hussey, and wife, Lorraine, of St. James; nephews, nieces, with great and great-greats as well; and other relatives and many friends.

In addition to her first and second husband, she was preceded in death by her only son, Terry Raymond Copeland, on October 9, 2017; one grandson, Jamie Joseph McKinney, on May 4, 1979; one great-great-grandson, Lathen Steven Kleffner, on July 20, 2012; her father, Frank Hussey; her mother, Effie Hussey; one brother, Richard Hussey; one sister, Wanda Bilyeu; and two nephews, Larry Bilyeu and Danny Bilyeu.

A private graveside service will be held. Pallbearers for Mrs. Bilyeu will be Donald Sebben, David McKinney, Neil Copeland, Nathan Copeland, Jeffrey Kleffner, and Billy Hussey.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Joseph McKinney, Lathen Steven Kleffner, Larry Ray Bilyeu, and Dan Bilyeu.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Lorene Bilyeu are suggested by her family to the Vienna Public Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund with envelopes available at cemetery day of service or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, MO 65582.
