Obituary

Louise Ann Honse Feeler, of Vienna, was born on April 17, 1945, at Vienna, a daughter of John Henry and Gladys Elnora (Picker) Honse, and departed this life at 1:14 a.m., on Thursday, July 2, 2015, in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla, from suffering an apparent heart attack earlier at her residence. Louise had attained the age of 70 years, 2 months, and 16 days.

Louise was united in marriage on November 6, 1971, at Vienna, to Vernon Tilghman Feeler, and to this union, three daughters were born. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry, on August 19, 1974; her mother, Gladys, on June 12, 1981; and two sisters, Christina Lea "Christi" Honse on June 3, 1996, and Helen Kay Adams on January 18, 2009.

Louise had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Personal Savior and had followed Him in baptism on May 15, 1960. At the time of her passing, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Vienna. Louise especially enjoyed activities involving her family, her grandkids, and watching ballgames. She was always kind and helpful, not only to her family and relatives, but just to people in general.

After graduating in 1962 from the Maries R-1 High School in Vienna, Louise was employed by the Missouri Division of Employment Security, Jefferson City, where she worked her entire working life. At the time of her retirement in 1997 and with thirty-four years of service, Louise had attained one of the highest positions in state government as a Clerk 5.

Those left to mourn the passing of Louise include: Her husband, Tilghman; three daughters, LeAnn Kleffner and husband, Daniel; Jaime Schulte; and Amber Agan and husband, Robert, all of Vienna; seven grandchildren, Kaylynn Havens and husband, Patrick; Kole Kleffner; Kody Kleffner; Bryse Rowden; Tori Schulte; Layne Agan; and Logan Agan, all of Vienna; four brothers, Lloyd Honse and wife, Carolyn; Wesley Honse and wife, Jane; Gary Honse and wife, Debbie; and Roger Honse, all of Vienna; six sisters, Norma Krenning of Brownsville, Texas; Marjorie Fowler of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Wilma Hauser and husband, Rod, of Eldon; and Wanda Hutson and husband, Billy; Linda Honse; and Marilyn Lewis and husband, Dennis, all of Vienna; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral services were conducted for Louise at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, in the First Baptist Church, 1004 Highway 63 South, Vienna, with Bro. Kevin Rowden, Wheeler Church of Christ, Dixon; and the Rev. Mike Hurtgen, First Baptist Church, Vienna, officiating.

Interment were in the Vienna Public Cemetery under the direction of the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes. Pallbearers for Louise will be Aaron Hutson, Derek Hutson, Patrick Havens, Matt Hollenbeck, Travis Hollenbeck, Austin Smith, Steven Campbell, and John Campbell. Honorary pallbearers will be Kaylynn Havens, Kole Kleffner, Kody Kleffner, Bryse Rowden, Tori Schulte, Layne Agan, Logan Agan, and Kristen Smith.

Memorial contributions are suggested by the family of Louise to the Vienna Public Cemetery with envelopes available at First Baptist Church in Vienna or the Vienna Office of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.
