Luis Daniel Grillo, age 16, of Linden, Texas, formally of Dixon, was born July 12, 2006, at Springfield, a son of Phillip Anthony John and Evangeline Faith (Smith) Grillo, and passed from this life, Sunday, January 15, 2023, while visiting his brother in Iberia.

The Grillo family are missionaries and traveled the country providing services to the local people of the area. Luis attended Bible Missionary Church and was very active in his church and faith. He loved building Legos and enjoyed the mission trips to Mexico with his family.

Those left to celebrate the life of Luis include: His mother, Evangeline, of Linden, Texas; his siblings, David Grillo (Joy), Abasolo, of Tamaulipas, Mexico; Christopher Grillo (Julie), of Kadoka, South Dakota; Joseph Grillo (Deborah), of Marlette, Michigan; Ariel Grillo (Esther), of Iberia; Naomi Newton (Joshua), of Donna, Texas; Lidea Grillo, of Springfield; and Derrick Grillo, of Linden, Texas.

Luis was preceded in death by his father, Philp Anthony John Grillo, on November 10, 2019.

Visitation for Luis will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, in the Hephzibah Holiness Church, 403 Hickory Street, Dixon, Missouri 65459, with his funeral service following in the church with Bro. Archie Atwell officiating, under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon.

Interment will be in the Dixon Cemetery next to his father. Serving as pallbearers for Luis will be David Grillo, Ariel Grillo, Christopher Grillo, Joseph Grillo, Joshua Newton, and Derrick Grillo.

Memorial contributions in memory of Luis Grillo are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the church the day of his service or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box EE, Dixon, Mo 65459.
